Nascent Dream

The rainbow never held a pot of gold
for me, no more than an illusive lust
just a dream of you draped in a lingerie
limbless, stripped of bust.

Not fluffy locks with silver streaks
swirling above in seductive tease,
I crave for the thunder of fusing mass
flashing the hunger in your eyes.

A pubescent bush aroused by steady rain
not enough to quench its parched terrain
for a lashing of furious torrents it screams
to flood its wanton rivulets.

I dream to roll in the muddy soil
then gush my lust in your flowing streams
the cascading colors in your eyes
more bashful than a rainbow streak.

Your lingerie with shimmering shroud
a silken veneer over a satin hide
moon beams rush to peek at your form
lost to the world, not my eyes.

This piece is one assault of sexual imagery to me. lol. Goodness! Luckily its not so much of being erotic but more to appreciating beauty. Good job with the image of lust and beauty.

Thanks for the visit and your comment. I wish to clarify that this is written with due respect to feminine dignity. The attempt was to draw a parallel / perspective between natural phenomenon and human experience. I believe I have taken due care not to be overtly gross.

Readers read and interprete in their own way. Mayhaps the problem is me, not you. To each his own view. That's the part you can't control. As long as you have done your best to control your work as not to offend anyone, don't worry about it.

If I were you
I would be bold enough to show
Many hot lady poets
wrote passionately
I was also embarrassed at times

we men I thought !

Boldness must come from within
poetry is slim
and sexual minds dim

when poetry is as sublime
as this
no one can adoration miss
by not giving
a loving kiss

A description of a shared joy, it is usually a taboo subject, but I think that your words made it beautiful. I hope there was a second party.
Well written, Yours Ian. T

Thanks Ian for the time to visit this page and leaving an appreciative comment. I must tell you that there is no second party. This is purely written from imagination and an attempt to co-relate the natural events with the physical purely in an objective manner :)....

Ian.T

You have a damn good imagination or someone has been whispering in your ear LOL.
If there is not another to join you on your journey then I suggest that you waste no more time and seek them out, good luck with your seeking maybe a look that you have had from someone has triggered your thoughts, Take care young one, Yours Ian.T

Let me clarify. It is not that there is no someone in my life. What I meant was that this poem was written in objectivity and not subjectivity. Thanks for stopping by again and your comment.

I was just being bad to you lol, you take care out there and talk soon, Yours Ian..

You have given a descriptive look into the soul of passion as seen through the eyes and heart of a perceptive poet and lover! Enough said!

you had written this one long ago
I thought it was new
a great coincidence
I posted a dream poem

of a lady down in her blues
seeking solace from people like you

but then the two platforms are totally different ...
she was thinking of an exit from ma planet
you of a transpired love
with a new essence
hope my comment
makes some sense

Thanks for stopping by again and your appreciative comment. Different perspectives of the same subject are bound to create different strokes in two poems..
