I sought love gurgling as a child.
Safe in arms, my mother’s smile
Memory faded as years passed,
I sought love, the die was cast
Friend’s love did see me through.
Each day carrying out tasks anew.
These bonded as my mother so,
In my heart and mind they did grow
I kept seeking things in a world so new,
A kindred Spirit into my life flew.
Yet a fleeting visit was all I had,
They left me but I didn’t feel sad.
I now wander in these golden years,
I am able to love, without youthful fears.
With a love I see as it quietly unfolds.
A new way to what I have been told
This time has passed and now I say,
I love all people in a special way.
This love has my life now filled.
Reminds me of when I was a child.

You have explored all dimensions and depths of love in this love filled poem.

Love is so complex yet simple we just have to find our own level.
Do we learn from a lifetime of looking do we ever stop looking.
Thanks for your visit and comment, talk again soon,

Many years have passed since I read Ullyses, and since the faster comps, a couple of years since reading a book though I have many.
I wish I could send more of my books to others..
The spectrum of love, I have put a short write on a vast subject, hope there are others out there that can write more on each era, thanks for your visit, Yours Ian.T
YOUR LOVE FOR MY POETRY
has since vanished
now I also
will soon be banished
Loved
Your poetry has not of late been up to your usual standard, and after some comments I decided just to be out of some discussions, apart from being away for a while and only able to have a short time on site.
Your poetry was becoming well followed here and then the last few weeks you tailed off again, I know you are up to writing some great stuff, so less of this I shall be banished, lets just have some good words from you.
The other choice is opting out.
Take care young Bard and keep writing,
Yours as always Ian.T
PS:- this comment was for PM not for this piece I wrote???
