You so compliment me

You so compliment me
As if I were a star,
A celebrity,
A sun,
A moon
And
From this unearthly earth
You would lift me soon,
Into the weeping valleys
Of shadowed eternity,
To where we all return,
Ere human maternity,
To strive in all malefactions custody
And
To seek final solace
After all the mercilessness of humanity,

So must I too return?
From here to the far folds of eternity…

But sad tis,
We all have to parade
The sojourn alone.

You can however signal
To me,
Now perish or I grieve.

This is really wonderful, loved. You drew me in with your opening line and kept me interested until the very end. Great wonderful poem, my friend!

You excel in your vociferous way
And
Raise me from the lower strata,
Where I stay
And
Uphold my hand all through life's way
How can I,
not but for you pray,
For your happiness,
I shall still stay.
