times have began to elapse
generations seem to have been lost
who is to be in a lapse?
elderly have not made such boast
whom are we to slaughter?
proud is not the nation of today
young has not been found as yet
years of decades have seen a day
later how to be a pet
witness the hate and say
they have laid it and set
why should we give back a pay
all ancestors did was to rest
whom are we to judge?
not to say out a story
we aren't from the past
words of then had no sorry
all had been down to them and cast
forgive and don't forget understudy
they had been too cruel
whom are we to forgive?
our very own have died
our own have been killed
our own have been murdered
our own have been misled
why should we forget?
not to be in a world of terror
suppose you should see hate in me
all I wish for
all I dream about
all I kneel down for
is for your kind to die

Sometimes understanding...
intellectually, Is the first step toward letting go of the hate. We always fear what we don't understand.
There are those that don't want to examine their feelings and hope that by professing love and peace, they won't have to. Sad, but true. Nice work, keep it coming. ~ Geezer.
"I see you"
If only this was true throughout the world young writer.
If there was complete peace the arms dealers would start a war.
There is a solution to all the wars and strife but we are all blinded by greed and the old fear brought about by many that want to dominate man for their own greed, If world leaders had to fight, then wars would become history.
Go well and walk with your eyes open to all, Yours Ian..
