WHAT IF

What if, Rocket Man was
Afraid to fly.
Would he be a
Sorry guy?

What if Brick House was?
Made of straw?
Your roommate is
Your mother-in-law.

What if
We Got the Beat?
Was really my,
Dog’s In heat.

What if Run Around Sue?
Stayed home.
She was happy
No need to roam.

What if The Train Kept A Rolling?
Didn’t roll?
There are two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl.

What if Dazed
Never met Confused?
Maybe he is
Guilty as accused.

What if take a walk
on the Wild Side?
Was missed by
A mile wide.

What if London?
Wasn’t calling?
Underneath the
War pigs crawling.

What if Great Balls were?
Not on fire?
Would Jerry still be
A live wire?

when your sentence is a straight forward question, the question mark goes at very end and serves as the terminal punctuation mark!

In stanza 2, delete the first question mark!

Then in stanza 8, delete the first question mark!

And finally in stanza 9, delete the first question mark!

You can as well read aloud and find it out for your self.
