weeping willow

Early on
a misty morning
I hear
a lonesome cry .
For twas
a weeping willow
torn with
teardrop
in it’s eyes.
I whistled
“ what’s the matter”
And this was
His reply.

“For I’m
a winter willow
with
my mind
weighed in woe .
For I have
to face
the future
But I’m
too afraid to go .”
