TEENS OF OLD AGE

Come on now hurry up darling
don't stroll like a puppy
you used to when you were six

yeah mommy coming up soonly
shall catch up quickly
let me take a breath

O don't wag your tail
as you used to early
now breakfast is laid
use a nappy

wow what hot soup
but salt less
why are you afraid
now of my prostate
it's now safe
no more kids

smiles
here have a cone of ice
cream added
but in early life you gave me corn

yeah then I was your darling
now you are a starling
sans teeth
no dentures

come along
it's time for bed 8pm
Forget Saturday nights
till Sunday 6am

Come old man
now just come
no fun
no pun.

Geezer

do birds have teeth? Maybe back in the dinosaur age? I guess that maybe you are as old as the dinosaurs. I get the drift; you can't eat corn without teeth, unless you are a bird. Swallow the kernals whole. ~ Geez.

Hi lovedly, I'm not sure, but it seems to me that the "starling" is really an old man? It's all so typical of when I cared for my late husband, who had dementia. Do tell me if I'm wrong, all else is fine. Humor, imagery, title, content, except I'm not sure about the "person".
Enjoyed, Gracy
