Sucker Punched

Every time I think I got it right
Here you go starting a fight
Sucker punching words spewing from your mouth
Flying as if a fist to shatter all my doubts.

Asshole, you make my life a living nightmare
Hindering the efforts to be fair
When sharing a kind moment
You make me wanna vomit.

A cake made especially for you
My special disgrace when you're blue
Constant awareness of your evil flesh
Keep me far from your electric fences

You'll heed the errors one day
Just hope it's not too late
When your time runs out
And I'm nowhere to be found.

Like a distant train in the night
Your game of certain heights
Will lose the battle then the war
Once my wounds are healed and scarred

at the beginning I thought this is about the Bottom Line workshop as you wrote about 'punching words' LOL, but then it turned to read more like a rant for/ about someone who annoys you. Hope it's all fiction.

Last word "scared" ...."scarred" maybe?

Yeah sometime people can be so mean and believe they do nothing wrong. Thanks for reading and sharing.

My little house of horrors....sometimes we need a good rant...well done

Barbara Writes

Yeah it felt good to rant on paper in poetic tones rather than retaliating which would only have made matters worse. Thanks for reading and sharing.
