SPRING CAME AND WENT

I dove into the pool
without a splash of water
then from the highest height
of the diving spring board

I dived clean
not a drop splattered
none clapped
it was only my self victory

then as summer came
I walked along
the world of poetry
sang a song
no one heard me

in the autumn of my life
I severed off a branch of a tree
just like an autumn’s faded leaf
someone said.
Ah

then in the winter of my life
as snow covered me
they lowered me six feet below
covered with raw snow
then someone said
well now he also has gone

a newer season shall be born
another season gone
he was also one
now truly a bygone

It shapes one’s thinking.

There is no time to waste, is one of the things that came clear to me last month (in my dismal experience from December/January). Nearly bought the farm then, and my recovery has found new evidence for continued interest in things like aliveness.

I have kept myself alive for past years 37
I was not destined to die
they all feverishly tried

I still live and help others to survive

we will never walk this way ever again alive
can we once dead

No ICE Cream for that I'd give my fortune
THE LORD has no ice cream parlour yet upstairs

He had whispered in my ear
Now loudly I share
yes he will punish me when once I am there
I sincerely don't care
as he will never come upfront
he silently smiled

I woke up again
O Love I'm still alive
ice cream for me
for breakfast please
