Please understand my comment comes from one with a science background. The general public likely does not know or care. Like deer the plural of sperm is sperm. There are a few who treat it like fish (plural fish but some use fishes) but general acceptance is sperm.

this poem is a consequence to some gals poem
defining/desiring teen age angst,
why her ovum can't be displayed ,
in a crystal glass vases for others to appreciate,
hence the conjoint title
sperm ,fish, deer ,notwithstanding
the leader sperm ought to stand out
