sheer admiration

Poets are born
around the world
here and there
but few know
where

The world's best poets
went un-recognised
who am I/(we)
just a sparkling
by the way side grass
over which many
humans and animals
trample and pass

Who am I/we to reckon with
but a lone force
none knows

till we pass

im not retired
i work one day every
two weeks and last
year made four hundred
seventy dollars
the worth in the work
is the family I know there
making motivate items
for the less fortunate
who pay top dollar
such is the specialty of
the handi craft...

i mere wanted to be a poet
and i ponder if i am or not
and then this whole world
of Poets! like a family
it is rousing though
and intense

the medium is the massage

Thank U L

Just someone who enjoys playing with words. Not a special branch of humanity with some important message to impart. I never consider myself a poet but merely a rhymer. I write for the fun of it. I used to write even before discovering a place to share and would continue to do so if there were no sites like this within my ken.
