The Scorned One

The selfish wrath of a discarded
lover will live on, and on;

though they're told that, "it's over"
now, they don't want to be...gone!

True, you...yourself did dissmiss them
so, you alone are to blame;

and that's when they start justifying
plotting an endless, cruel "game"!

Being scorned, they're more driven
to teach you suffrage, much worse;

revenge is a dish served, best...cold
with a large cup, of warm "curse"!

Narry a trade-off, nor any time-outs
will be appearing soon, your way;

so, that'll prove you're the "bad guy"
and that's no matter, what you say!

The scorned is focused on your sufferring
at a comparitively higher degree,

than the shame that they ache from
for having no, integrity.
