The importance of knowing something
as opposed to knowing nothing,
for sure,
imposes a quandary,
words are objects of adoration, sometimes
words bite back from the margins of the page.
Tawny lions in the Gia forest of India roar
the Barbary lion is extinct.
The expedition to the inner landscape changes,
thorny forests of poetry rip the skin.

Hi K
This is like the snap shot of a poem. It ends quite abruptly but thats how it is I guess. I can't really find fault except to say U~ admire your gift. Maybe a little cryptic in execution: "The expedition to the inner landscape changes/thorny forests of poetry rip the skin. Please explain to me what were you feeling when you wrote these words.

I really don't feel suffering
I really don't feel suffering as I once did, though this poem is very close to my heart....when the heart is open it knows all suffering, so in a strange turn around, a paradox.....my feelings are my poems.
I stay with the love, find myself always returning to it from whatever journey away I have made.
And it's the poetry of life that binds me.
Thank you for asking, John.

The importance of feeling and understand your subject when you write is so true. You do not want it to turn on you.
A very insightful write.
