I recall a doc told an old
half blind lady

one white
morning pill
red at night after dinner
and
yellow green and blue
together at lunch
for your pee loo and poo...

well doc that's okay

but just tell how
will they know
where to and when go

Rosewood Apothecary

My amazing grandparents (maternal) are still motoring along in their 80’s. They take a rainbow of assorted medications daily to manage all the different challenges. All in all they’re still independent though we are coming to the end of that and the family really needs to get together and have a plan for their care. Their youngest daughter is local and my sister and I are still around too so I feel like that will be our job to help out with that. We all have a good amount of humor surrounding it, them included. It’s a strange and wonderful dream, this life. Many aren’t so lucky to make 80 years old even if it’s with the aid of a multi colored galaxy of pills.
