Pain of the heart

I remember when you hated mama
Always cried due to daddy
Sadly maybe I was the reason why

After I left you gained joy
My shirt got lost
Gave you a new one you hardly wear
It sucks everyday I shed a tear
My heart races from fear
Maybe it needs a spear
The breaking is too loud
My feelings ain't proud
It's like their moving round
Getting costly like the pound
How does joy sound?

Joy is in your path
Please sell me the freedom
Please use yourself a condom
This shit called HIV ain't Random

I live under pain and confused days
Finding someone new is hard
I'm not trying to replace you
I can't keep you around forever
I'm sorry but I gotta say never
Please just change the space
Let yourself be lenient

Liked this piece as it is part of Africa and the feelings are set out well.
Keep up the writing,
Yours Ian..

Delicate piece really heart felt.
the notion of Africa
I was taken back by its title
you know we each go through things in life
this is relevant for today you have hit it spot on.
Never relent to ever give up on your passion in writing.
