My head pounded as if it would break
Pressure in the arteries increased
Were the eyes red, I saw not myself
A move brought piecing shattering pain
Migraine fed on tissues in the brain
Goblins rode across on their chariots
Celebrating putrefying gangs
Down the sympathetic mental strain
Vigor dimed around solar plexus
Tummy stirred up with effluvium gas
Nauseating salty saliva in the mouth
Forced open by gagging the cavity
Not a day of feverish cold wind
When body heat blazed to melting point
Bouts of hunting nightmare swept within
Getting up seemed so impossible
Hence, I struggled hard and gasp for air
Shouts generated no resonance
Pinned down and wholly demobilized
Our people say, witchcraft maneuver
Dreaded nights of countless tough lessons
Dehydration disrupts the symmetry scale
Electromagnetic body charged negatively
Short-circuiting the flow of current within
The mind unable to translate a command
The spirit struggles with the elementals
The cobweb you see upon your release
Not the sign of attack by the enemies

This is a total success
as an informative poem that blows away demons
I hope your countrymen appreciate it..
blowing away demons...
Sometimes, I wonder on the distorted spiritual interpretations our people give to physiological challenges like headache, malaria fever, madness and even stomach pains. The devil must be behind all these or witches and wizards are up to some games. The list is endless, a woman who has not been married, blaims the witches and after being married and no child blames the devil not minding the number of abortions and preventive pills she had taken and a student who fails exams, blames the witches.
Thank you and best wishes.
