orange blossoms

after the firestorm
when the earth shakes her fury
the time of rainbows.....

her devastation
but a path
to what cannot pass away
the spirit that thrives
inside orange blossoms
that roar and howl
with flesh

stranger than fiction
stronger than chains
imprisoning
then linking us to earth,

a flash,
here then gone.

I read this and a bunch of things came to mind.
First it was like a thought that come timing like a burning fire
Then it's gone
Second, I though of the cleansing fire that is spoke of in revelations,
That at its end all that is left are those of like hearts upon the new purified earth.
Please elaborate, I think I've gone down the wrong path, but it's what I saw in this most intriguing write

Hi Eddie, thanks for reading carefully enough to ask your questions.

I think, when my poems *work*, it's because all thoughts that come into the reader's mind and heart, are correct.

And you are.
