ONE MORE FOR AUTUMN

A very beautiful dawning
of autumn
I love
as it is neither the end nor beginning
midway only

life continues
as many I have seen
yellow red and green mostly
flying leaves
dying in the cool breeze
as within our lives
memories freeze
come o beautiful season
our miseries relieve

we love autumns like thee
loveliest poetry your pens
give birth
with glee

Captain

Loved
Ly
Indeed
Across what seas?
Where are you?
My Autumn freind?
Red and brown leaves fall here too
Do they fall for all?
Probably
In some way
Somehow
Do you remember me? The
Captain?.
I want to write again.
Like a drunk idiot flood.
Will you hear me?

Lavender

Hi, Lovedly,
I have always thought of Autumn as the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter, but your first verse helps me realize it is a time in and of itself. Thoughtful words. I especially like your last verse - joyful!
Thank you!
