Glad I have a Lordly friend
to slow march
ahead of the ambulance
as they take me to the doldrums
and
I can still imagine how many are following me
the times with reunion at the cemetery
Ridilieu on Park Street
I could imagine
they called an ambulance
to take me to the hospital
the doc moved me to the hospice
and
the nurse asked
what could she do with a cold body
they moved me on to the mortuary
all waited for an opportunity
a week's time in waiting
the end was nearing
they hastened it
but then
all this is pure imagery
smile with me
I am still living
All life is a hallucination
a mystery
composing sweetened poetry

I m tempted....
...to write a lovely poem about an erotic encounter I once had in a cemetery. Would you like me to dedicate it to you?
