She told me she loved
no no no no -crush
you are very much older
but for you I have some kind of love
about that later
she blushed
Missed her from her teens
so many years later
last night she came in my dream
rested her head on my shoulder
soft and supreme
I brushed her aside and said
'tis too late
now I'm so much more older
she blushed again like last time
silently smiled
my eyes opened wide
there was none beside
perhaps she just implied

This is poignant Lovely. Sometimes I wish my dreams could be true then I could talk to my Ma and Pa again.

Love Always Sis xxx
She was
stunningly beautiful
very young
but when one loves
age is just a number
we vibed
But the reality one must face
we were physically years apart
so my dream too sustained me
I loved
but then there was nothing but
poetic imagery
so really nostalgic
LIFE IS LIKE THAT
I don't think we will ever meet
times flowing on a VIKING
May she be blessed
having shared her sensory memories
with me
Thanks ma'am
A dream escapes me
I really like that theme. You treated it in the normal Lovedly fashion. I have a certain timbre I use in my head when I read your poems. I feel like they need to be spoken not read. I feel this way with a lot of free verse. I like the disjointed nature of the style. I also dislike the disjointed nature of the style. It’s ambiguous for many readers though I don’t find your work to be that way. Your line breaks usually make it pretty clear.

Thanks Tim as I always say poetry wise I'm DIM
I simply compose as garbage
what my mind says to dispose
Glad you spend your invaluable time
to assess the trash worth of my mind
Yes I am speaking as I write....
its basically to share my delight
with those who read me ...
Perhaps you read
GIVE PEACE A CHANCE .
I'm amused daily
it s being read
now by 10700 plus y
ou may if u wish
Thanks Tim
I admire your frankness....
Nostalgic Dream
Hello, Lovedly,
I can feel the confusion and a little bit of sadness here. Dreams can be bewildering.
