Sometimes, when I sit down to write,
a blank piece of paper in front of me,
I see beautiful words already there.
But it was always going to be you
who helped me put them on the page.

I like the title...
but think that it could be a little more involved. I don't know, maybe something like: Midnight Muse, or Amuse Me Muse?
This is all you could give on your muse? The one who roams the world, searching for tales to bring you; sitting on your lap, whispering in your ear? It begins well, but I could wish for a much longer piece. ~ Geez.

Thanks Geez! As I've said
Thanks Geez! As I've said before - always leave them wanting more - LOL! If brevity is not your cup of tea, then you may not like the body of work by the poet, Atticus (an inspiration for me). Always appreciate your comments sir!
Best
I just had...
to go look up Atticus! I agree, the poet has a fantastic mind. Some of his stuff, a little hard to follow at first, but ultimately, worth the time. ~ Thanks for sharing, ~ Geez.

Muse
Hello, Michael,
This is exactly the way it works. What would we do without our muse(s)...musi? :) Sweet, and inspiring poetry.
Thank you!
