Muddle of Pud

Imagine this!
Remember that?
lt's foggy like a dream,

you must be wrong
that's not my hat!
You've lost it, it would seem.

This veil of trust
is full of holes,
it's nothing like you've said;

these scenarios
are like Cheerios,
leaving holes in words, instead.

Were you in my shoes
you'd clearly see,
not much makes any sense;

but l see you
are working me,
it hurts you think l'm dense.

It's true some days
l don't see clear,
yet l finally realize;

that given time
all l hold dear,
will vanish from my eyes.

My father's gone
to his reward,
at least that's what they say;

my time comes fast,
and very hard
so now, l'm fearful of that day.

Many claim
no-one can boast
of a picture perfect life;

that'd be
like a great swordsman
who's afraid to hold a knife.

So to sum things up,
no-one can claim
knowledge of everything;

l'll just do my best
to find my way
through the fog that life can bring.

l'll navigate
as best l can,
and l'll keep my fingers crossed;

in a muddle of pud
there's no good plan,
l'll keep walking 'til l'm sure l'm lost!

An expressive message there. The title also fits well with quite some kind of irony.
Alas to wait for our time though we're never ready..

The line
"as best l can,"
may be (the) best I can
or (as) best (as)
mere thoughts to share. Please discard if you think they don't work well with your message.

...dear Rula. I completely see your point; and you've proven, once again that you must've been named by the gods of equality, and fair judgement!
However actually; l dunno.
must ponder,
docmaverick.
