Love Your Enemy

Love Your Enemy

You're on the highway & somebody cuts you off
Love your enemy
This is a commandment
Someone steals your pocket book
Love your enemy
Now you will do as you are told until the rights to you are sold
A telemarketer is a bully to you
Love your enemy
Yet one doesn't have to be a door mat from some high healed destruction
Lift up your head summon the troops
Love your enemy
If he should hate you
Love your enemy
Sow seeds of kindness it will come back to you in due time
With what we do with our time today will become evident in eternity
Someone gives you the middle finger
Love your enemy
Shower kindness hopefully someday the enemy will see
At one time in life the enemy was me

I admire your altruism, compassion and love. It even works to an extent. Whereon it is based on faith, sorry, it just doesn't work. Look up "sociopath" and "psychopath" and see how often they succeed and die comfortably in bed.
A few minor spelling errors-
Your on the highway & somebody cuts you off [you're, and it is a mortal sin to use an amperand instead of and]
Sew seeds of kindness it will come back to you in due time [sow].

When I am the active enemy of evil I am proud of it.
