Life’s tower wilting by the hour

Life at first builds
up into a
tall tremendous
tower getting
stronger by the hour .
But time took
its usual
toll and it
started to wilt away
to the weak
feeble flower.
That
willingly lets death devour
it down to a
measly sickly
seed that lies
deep within the land
of yesterday .

Hi, Edward,
In just a few words, you successfully built the tower and then completely wilted it - I could feel the sadness and devastation of it all. "...deep within the land of yesterday." Strong ending.
Thank you,

I got the idea from Benjamin button the one thing the end and the beginning have in common
Is that you begin with nothing and then you end with nothing.
