Grieve not for the one who goes

we all follow the leaders footsteps
and perhaps you may find time to read
my grief poem
which articulates that
man is born to die from day one..
death like a shadow follows one
each one,
its only the shortening and lengthening of the shadows
that makes a difference
but soon enough
ere we know
the candle blows
and the shadow also goes
think of the parted
and say it’s good they had a great day
they brought smiles on faces
of ailing humanity

say what you must say
one day I too shall pass away
and follow you will or may..

sad for you
nonetheless today...

Geremia

"As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. But the wind passes over, and soon all disappears; and his place will no more exist."
Psamls, Bible

Striking poem. Well done,

My friend,

I follow two who went befre me
and two before them
until infinity...

It is not Death I fear; it is what comes after. I never travel unless I know the itinerary. Dying sucks, yet we "accomodate" to "the process" but fight to stay alive. CARPE DIEM. :) Keep on writing. That is what you are meant to do.

to continue
death is just a life's sojourns termination
and interesting till,
there is no life beyond the soul
when all becomes still,
believe it or no...
t its your own sweet will,
I shall exist at times free will

Simply wonderful . I liked so many lines . No, I liked them all
Especially
death like a shadow follows one
each one,
its only the shortening and lengthening of the shadows
that makes a difference
but soon enough
ere we know
the candle blows
and the shadow also goes

No suggestions . Just dropped by to show my appreciation .
