Labratory Witchcraft

glass cauldrons
twitchy electrodes
boiling
toiling
cackling nerds
wide eyed berserk
on calamity's edge

UH! OH!

poof

existance....
....extinct

I mean nada
annilhilation
everything's gone

except ...

a tiny scrap of paper
adrift in the void
scribbled words
no one will read

..."I know, 'boys will be boys',
but please don't blow up the world.
love , mom".....

certainly no uncertainty principle here!

I saw that piece of paper drifting on the winds of time.
The message didn't reach me fast enough but I am fine
I sit here at eternities edge, glad it is not a narrow ledge
Here there is no longer a need to move paper knowledge
Just use your think it is just like a collage where everyone learns
Of unconditional love and atoms that no longer burn.

Good write see you on the other side no hitch hikers just 42..
Yours Ian.T
PS:- I was born in 42 so that must mean something LOL

glad to see you have not abandoned your post (postings)
I have been gone for quite awhile. Just burned out, or blocked, or someting, but nothing serious.

I feel better when I'm here, or I'm here because I feel better....not sure which.

We are of such different styles in writing and interests, and yet we have as pleasent a relationship as I have ever had. That, I do appreciate.

thanks for the creative comments.
42... is that a reference to Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy...

42 is supposed to be the answer to everything, must be that hitch hikers guide.
I have never read it, me and comedy seem to be on different planets.
I am training to be a Grumpy Old Man, the wife said "why train? you are it." lol.
The fact that we write poetry to a degree has no bearing on walking together here or in other places.
This is part of life, it is strange that we are all here yet talk to each other very little, and there our words portray a little more of us each time we write.
Just know that there is always someone to talk to here.
I have many places here to put writings and am always busy, though Neopoet sometimes dies away a little, I will PM my site where I am trying to put all my writing and some useful stuff under workshop, I also have a Poetry Cafe programme, quite honestly I need to sort loads out.
Will leave you for now, you take care and if you need to ask just do so, it is part of me,
Yours Ian.T
