this is how

Gentle fingers of wind
softly graze my cheek,
my nose tips the moon
as white pink lips cleave
ever gasping awe

searching the night skies
glimmering with starry art,
I gaze instinctively above
knowing a beautiful truth

Night walking robes
leave silvery trails,
glittering moonbeams
of dew, mark the advent

My back against the wall
I softly slide to ground,
eyes weep contentment
escaping my mouth, on sighs

Indigo clouds wisp north
laying across tan ranges,
but forgotten factories
intrude my observation

rugged lines cannot deny
a rustic beauty of form,
history whispers "yesteryear"
into a technological today

Without warning, nor sound
tomorrow threatens arrival,
my dark wanderings, end,
tomorrows are full of forever

ever laying my sight
to audacious sunrises,
their spectacular, rebirth,
baptizing blessed holy days

Gone, but never forgotten
a silent nights sole reverie,
armors me for the battle
stubbornly holding ground

In my darkest hours
my eyes shine with stars
stolen from southern night's,
what gets me through, these

undeniably harsh
horrendously painful,
ugliest encounters
of whats touted as life

this is how I do, and do
how moments endured,
with hope enough, still,
for this beauteous world

But mostly now, for you.

what shines real is about...
overhead..in the wind
the stillness and rush even
I slam into that stream against
the current
and then crash off to the side
wiped out for a week or more
walking in the rains
snow...
awake at night
tottering on the edge
shivering and shaking
not from cold but of the energy
as I fought to comprehend
all the opression and obsession
a lot of its control
but then that goes
and the stars emerge

beautiful Jayne
such a grand write
"leaning against the wall"

glad U are writing
and surviving my friend

It is nice to look at the world in a positive vein, when what we feel is opposite.
Strength lays in those small now moments that deliver us from what is actually happening. the reality of the world can be comforting when we see it as a healing potion.
Girl you are so strong and I believe that's what keeps you going, your expressions of love and beauty.
Thanks for letting me see into your beautiful world. The road is just a journey, how you travel it, is all that matters. You are an experience traveler!
I send you all my positive energy through the cortex of the universe.

I can't believe this is the poem you say I inspired.........but it Does show you're looking past the bad time you're enduring to grasp the beauty still there for all who care to see it................stan

how I do and do.
How moments endured,
with hope enough, still,
for this beauteous world.
But mostly now, for you.

These words, tell the story of a life
that rails not against the inequities of life,
but celebrates the love for the gift of it.
Being able to enjoy the world's beauty
and friendship in the face of hardship,
is the mark of someone who truly lives.
