My friend is a poet, just like me
Well, we don't write the same
But it's apparent for all to see
Even though you don't know their name
I write of things that I care about
They write of things that I wouldn't
I'm sure to write of things, no doubt
That they might not or shouldn't
It's tough to see where to stop or start
Even though we are friends, you see
Because there's things in everyone's heart
Different from you and me

Hi Gee
I like the way this could be taken to have been written to almost anybody
Yeah Exactly...
That's how it was meant! ~ Geez.

Alternate rythme scheme
brings flow to every good poem.
That's nice.
Thanks Jack...
I love rhyme and strive to do it as well as I can. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. ~ Geezer.

Very very well
Your style is your unique identity of your own composition.
I suppose...
that you are right, I guess that most poets, that if they write enough, they do develop a style that is recognizable. I am glad that you enjoy my work. Thank you. ~ Geezer.

Different
..strokes for different folks. As usual, your approach to rhyme and metre are enjoyable. It really makes my day to read poetry like this. Cheers

Thank you...
so much for your consistent encouragement and praise of my work. I gives me a sense of accomplishment to know that I have made someone's day by writing something that gives them some pleasure. You're not so bad yourself; I wish that you would write more. ~ Geez.
