Haters

Some people say
“Haters gonna hate”
but like Shakespeare says
“If you prick us,
Do we not bleed?”

A tree is right
To fear a chainsaw,
Though it might still
Fill the forest
With its seed

Nice work but leaves me a bit confused about the message

is it hate breeds hate or seeds of love prevail hate?

it could be read two ways, the tree, despite its fear of the chainsaw, still goes about it's life, including dropping seeds in the soil, continuing its legacy. perhaps of love. of tree at least. and the second way is that the chainsaw cut it down, but in the process, when the tree hits the ground, all of the seed pods are scattered. so either way, the tree passes on its life or love. that's how I intended it. thanks for stopping by!
