Very good, Rosina, see how relying on instincts works?

However, I didn't know rats chase birds, see even I can learn some things. ;-)

I am the first to confess illiteracy of the haiku forms, nevertheless having read a great many in other online forums I have come to enjoy them. I will, of course, never write them myself, but it is marvelous to see how with but a few words a moment is arrived at and then like a Russell painting seeing the VERY next moment subtly inferred. These are delightful. wesley

Oooooooh. I love *delightful*. Thanks for reading, but never dismiss your potential. If you enjoy them, you see them in forming in your mind's eye, see the movement..and the next moment... well, you're due for some haiku, just waiting to be *snowed*.

Just having fun as you invited dear Anna:-

Shadow on the hill
fright below
dive through space
************

Bent neck
keen eye aware
sharp splash

poised grey morning shadow
motionless quiet
gulped a fish

Statue grey waits
immobile still
until the waters stir
to the kill

lank leggy bird
you wait in grey
your gullet swollen
suddenly.

Oh just having fun,
I know you love the heron,
I do too. Love to you from Ann,
Have beensome days in Copenhagen just now.
