A Good Man is Passing

Everyone look,
A good man is passing,
Please stand,
And believe me when I say,
A good man is passing,
He didn’t ask for much,
But we did,
So please watch as he passes,
And Listen to what he has to say,
It may be the last time he speaks his mind,
I see the killer at the end of the road,
We may not have much time,
To say our goodbyes,
I wish I knew him better,
Stand,
A good man is passing.

About This Poem

Last Few Words: Sometimes good people leave to early and too quickly. Sometimes people are taken away for no good reason, just because they stood up for something. Don't ask me to change anything, it is as it is. Thank you.

Well I thought this was a funeral procession until about midway through. Reckon it's a pretty good poem about listening to people and giving them their just due while they're still around.............stan
