God’s Gospel Treason

It takes a helluva lot of conviction
to see a god on the other side, even
more I’d say, to promise to be his
bride. If god turns out to be a giant
prick that leaves their womb’s all torn,
do we the unbelievers, treat those who
worship him with scorn.

Or do we take them to our hearts, try to
guide their faith to freedom. Let them
see living creatures as a truth, maybe
find that they don’t need um. As I live
and breath I really want this process
to begin, take away the part with all
the pain so every creature can win.

Well I guess you’ll say I’m a humanist,
but you couldn’t be more wrong, when I
look at the mess we’ve made, our case
doesn’t feel that strong. But i know in my
mind, were the only ones who listen that
matter, and that there was never really a
mouse, who played the part of a mad hatter.
I only believe in that which I can see with
my own eyes, and that one doesn’t go to
a heaven, just because one dies.

Heaven is already here for the living, all
you need to get in there is lots of cash. I
know it’s hard to believe me, because
those with money say I’m white trailer
trash. But I beg you please don’t follow
them, take a walk somewhere very quiet
and listen to your reason. Then I hope
you’ll understand, to love your fellow
humans and all other creatures, isn’t gospel treason.
