It was written down a time long ago
In a story that only a few people know
She was always known as Forever Page
She lived most of her life inside a cage
Page was her name, but she was never read
She lived her life like she was already dead
Page rarely went out; no one ever came in
Her face was always sad; she had ashen skin
One night Page she added to her book
She had a baby that had her same looks
It was the only time that Page ever smiled
No one claimed to be the father of the child
Page did not live much longer after that night
She just extinguished like a burned-out light
No one looked after the baby; no, no one would
It just disappeared deep into the woods

Always have rhythm
And good rhyme too. It’s a sad story and the allegorical meaning is apparent. Great job.
