Dragon Lady...

A dragon of grand iridescence
Soars high in the blue of our world
Her broad wings are silver and gold
She has eyes of green and blue swirls

Soaring above all the countries
She lands on some, they do say
Her treasure is all of the friendships
She's won on these many bright days

Not for her are the recesses deep
Of dank and musty old cave
Her treasure of love, all she has
Her heart was in what she gave

In days of forlornness and gray sky
She has the warmth of us all
She has knights in shining armor
And legions to come when she calls

Bitter-cold winds are now blowing
Let us give her the warmth of our arms
Huzza's and cheers for the dragon
Wear them like good lucky charms

Now here, have we knit a warm sweater
Using well wishes and cheer
We have cast a spell of much loving
For one that is so near and dear

I wish the lady in quest would be able to read it sooner.
I'm sure it will uplift her spirits!
A great share Gee!!

about great, but I know that she is well deserving of any tribute that I can give. She is a great part of this site and helped me immensely when I was a neophyte here. I can only hope that she draws strength from our love and wishes. ~ Gee

The lovely ladies that are the kindred Spirits of each Dragon, sometimes are Earth bound.
They can only be precious, if we are gifted with the good luck, to come across their earthly form.
I have had the most extreme luck as I journey on this plain and met a few, their love we must share with all we meet, it is eternal and never changes,
Great write keeper of this Dragon,
Yours Ian..

Ian. I too have had the pleasure of meeting some of the lady dragons. Some face to face, some I have met through the site here. I will keep them close and never let them go. Thank you for the kind words. ~ Gee
