Declaration

Declaration

Kneeling, I am at a loss
to conquer all the fears
that have pursued me hard and fast
throughout these many years

so I stand with upraised fist
and shout my battle cry
down into the depths of Hell
and upwards to the sky

grasping truth so long denied,
I tear it til it bleeds
freeing me of wretched pain
and filling many needs

never one to mourn or weep
in sight of judging eyes,
only in my deepest soul
I let the grief arise

but now the guilt is slow to come
the sins of youth have died
and I am left alone with tears
I never should have cried

age is but a number now
old knees are hard to bend
I know within my heart of hearts
that death is not the end

As I have said to you many times that there is no need to be on bended knee.
Jump up and say I did my bit to make you safe today,
As and when I return to makers door.
They will fling it open that's for sure, and greet me as a friend.
Yesterday I said sorry.
Today I will mend
Tomorrow I shall forge ahead and live this life full till its end.
A great write there Lonnie.
And it's not even Sunday young Man, Yours with loving thoughts always, Ian.T

Once in a while I decide to let loose and rant a bit! Merry Christmas to you and your family across the waters!

Ian.T

You have a great Christmas
and have a lovely time with your family.
Let us for a change reflect on the things we need to do in the next year, and decide that they are going to be good things carried out with love and happiness, Yours, as always, Ian.T and Family

Your poems flow so well! feel's like an emotional pressure cooker - pent up feelings and emotions released - with a residue of tears.

I always like your poems - they are written from your heart.

Those kind words mean a lot, as I don't get near as many as I used to in the earlier days of Neo! Hope you and your loved ones are enjoying a terrific Christmas season!

Although you needn't worry, you've been at least as good as I am if not better for quite some time now! Nobody does nature poems like you!
