The Day We Were Born

With an ancient power,
This day you were born,
On that exact minute and hour,
Our undying affection was sworn.

With a cry of the purest emotion,
You came into this life,
And tears fell into the ocean,
Of a fate you were destined twice.

And the heavens slowly opened up,
As the perfect miracle descended,
There are no words to accurately put,
How high our spirits ascended.

Then the shared hopes of our soul,
Became one as they intertwined,
Becoming part of the unique whole,
Of a person so perfect and divine.

Geezer

This kind of sounds like the birth of a child.
A prayer from Mom and Dad.
Be interesting to see what you really intended. ~ Geezer.
