Hello Inky
I went through your profile and find that you are a student and would like to write good poetry. For that to happen, you need to post/ attempt more poems and also read and comment on those posted by others. I still consider myself to be on a learning curve and reading poems of others is a good addition in that process.
I notice that this is only your second poem posted that too after posting the first in November for which Kelsey has provided good comments. Actually that poem about soldiers you can now enter in the ongoing contest.
keep writing and reading works of others. Also participate in workshops.
