Cruising Virgin Islands

A Virgin Island vacation that never ceases
in the memory of a poor country girl
a life of luxury sailing the seven seas

In grand dining rooms she feasted
adorned a natural style of hair curls
a virgin island vacation that never ceases

Here are islands that many would never see:
and experience worth more than pearls
a life of luxury sailing the seven seas

The rocking ship roar at high speeds
toward the next island turn
a virgin island vacation that never ceases

Sunbathing on the deck in the burning heat
its time to hit the showers and cool the burn
a life of luxury sailing the seven seas

This vacation is near its end, time to leave
return to a dull life in a boring world
a virgin island vacation that never ceases
a life of luxury sailing the seven seas

Loved that you cannot get rid of a cruise.
I would maybe think that the line:-
"a virgin island vacation that never cease"
I think it would be good to put an "S" on the end of this line.
Also there is a poetry form cant recall what it is , but it is where a line moves through the stanzas one place at a time as,
Stanza one line one
Stanza two second line
Stanza three line three and so on.
But I rarely write to any form lol.
Have a great day out there, Yours Ian.T

I'm don't wanna forget it. Was 50 when ever leaving the US it was grand experienced. I made the change and added the S
This form is a villanelle. I was experimenting to see if it made any sense. I been writing a lot of poetry in different forms such as sijo, I may share one here to see what you think.
