Oh, great
Another political scandal
Let me guess
She’s sixteen
how in the world
will he explain
this mess
the details are getting vivid
empty bottles, condoms
and cheerleader pompoms
wait, it might not be him
there goes wishful thinking
the mastermind
made reservations
with his own credit card
thanks for watching
breaking news at ten
don’t miss out tomorrow
when we finally find
who killed the missing hen
Comments
amazing wit and humour
"when we finally found out who killed the missing hen"
our pique of our humanity
and what the poets surmise
intense and very rich in comedia de larte
thanks esker
for your words
Paul

What I liked about your poem
What I liked about your poem was the disjointed delivery as a reflection of the news we see on television and on our phones and of our lives.
Everything is a snapshot, just enought to pique your interest and how we are no longer capable of concentrating for more than a few seconds. And the punchline, a reminder that our interests are captured with tedium. It was perfect, Ruby :)
Thank you
