Just use your own brains

if you have one

otherwise others will implant

their sillier one’s on yours

you will simply twiddle your thumbs.

if you succeed they will yell

see what I did you tell

but if you fail

they will say idiot

why did you not use yours

at that time

I had a very high
Ego
did not take a small job
as I had held higher ones

then for three decades

I have been sitting

daily at my window

composing poetry
who will read me
you will not

is a random thought

I am now often

without a cuppa tea caught

some friends have pity and say
come over
when I ask when

all say some day
but just give a tinkle

but to date
no one has responded

I tinkle and twinkle

so friends take care

is a good pass time

only be aware
no one helps anyone

no hubby
no wifey

just use your brains
