Black Dog...By Geezer and Candlewitch

Where I travel
the black dog follows
through the narrows
through the hollows

He can't be seen
by naked eye
or shaken off
even though I try

I see his shadow
hear his howl
he's calling me
with breath most foul

Darkness crowds me
shadows shape my life
I cut them away
with my bloody knife

Red eyes of the hound
gaze into mine
I feel his evil
travel down my spine

My mind is trapped
within those spheres
as I stare into
his hellish mirrors

The nightmares come
every night
the evil never
far from sight

Running from his
awful gaze
I fear I'll run
all my days
