To Be

To be unattached
From the threads of
Yesterday and tomorrow.
To embrace music within
And dance in the cool air.
To close my eyes
And see a bright, open path.
To sit in silence
And listen to my heart.

To understand the Mourning Dove.

Geezer

That is the purpose of Yoga. To let all outside influence pass and be one with yourself and the world. Nice thoughts and well expressed.

I've had a pleasant, peaceful morning. There was a Mourning Dove nearby, and I finally realized that it's not the unmistakable call of the bird that is meaningful, but its very presence - the gift of itself when it sits so peacefully with others and sings.
Thank you!
