The lion sits upon his hill,
he's quiet but he watches all.
He sees antelope near a small rill
and hears hyena's far off call.
Baboons do their baboon things.
They receive from him no concern
while within reach a cricket sings.
High above the noon sun burns.
The baboon troop slowly comes near.
The lion merely shakes his head
while the troop falsely shows no fear.
they know the lion is well fed.
The lion gifts them with a yawn
as a few of them strut not far away
thinking they can depend upon
the lion being fed today.
Until at last one comes too near
and soon will make his final fail
by foolishly yanking lion's rear.
Most baboons know to not yank a lion's tail.

Yes there's always somebody or something that is stupid enough to tug a lion's tail lol
