An artist's Playground

Colors explode onto the page
A dancing bug and a dog in a cage
Droplets fly and multiply
A humming bird and a swatted fly

My paintbrush moves with a mind of it own
Flowing across the page, never going home
The sky begins to come into view
Then you see the water and many wet shoes

A lonely old fisherman waiting for a bite
A giant, looming oak tree reaching to an unreal height
The grass is filled with deer and dirty goats
In the city you see tall beautiful women with long fury coats

The forest at night is where all the fairies play
Water nymphs and satyrs live there during the day
The heavens above come into my view
Fluffy white clouds and a dark purply blue

I change up the color scheme from red to a shiny gold
Then I add white to the trees to make it look cold
I cover up the sun then paint the night sky
I add a few lonely birds with no wings to fly

Then I add tiny black smudges all over the ground
For this little painting is an artist's playground
