Amber alert! Where is my heart?

AMBER ALERT! WHERE IS MY HEART

Amber alert! Where is my heart?
You can look inside you, for a start.
It’s not there, it’s not there!
It left me when Sandi did!
I think it flew to Mildrid!
It was tired of bleeding all over the place; it was a disgrace!
Blood spattered everywhere, no-one dared go there!
We’ve gotta find it, we’ve gotta find it!
Put it on the news, now, that’s smart.
Still no luck, looks like I’m fucked.
Amber alert! Where is my heart?
Amber alert! Where is my heart?
You can look inside you, for a start.
Oh, look, silly me! It’s been in me the whole time.
It’s not even in pieces anymore.
Amber alert, where is my heart.

I couldn't wait to log on here and see what you had to say about my poem. I have definitely conquered. Ironically enough, I actually got the idea for the title after overhearing something my mom had said (can't remember exactly what, but it was related to the news, don't think it was an ACTUAL amber alert though luckily, it may have been a past one)
