I'm wondering what non-premium members see. You say 'homepage', is the URL www.neopoet.com/dashboard ?
Do you see Stream, Blogs, Forums, Workshops, Community news, the Calendar, upcoming Chats, Search, Updates and Recent comments? In which case it is the Dashboard.

My comp brings up a tab for Neopoet which is:-

Home
Community News
Then I select the one I wish to go to usually, Track all site activity, then probably the, Undiscovered Work..
Then My Activity..

Some go to Track all site activity

to see latest updates of poems, workshops and blogs

but the best place to start Neopoet each time is the Dashboard
http://www.neopoet.com/dashboard
where you get the Stream, Blogs, Forums, Workshops, Community news, the Calendar, upcoming Chats, Search, Updates, Recent comments. In short, the works with the lot.

I suspect voter turnout at the last election may have been higher if more members linked to the Dashboard.
