Hello All,

Its been forever since I have had the chance to peek in here at Neopoet and see the amazing changes you have all made here! I see all the old gang from days gone by are here as well as a few new faces, I have missed all of you, and its was so nice to be able to poke around the new site and see what has changed, what has remained unchanged as well as what has been added / taken awaY!!

From my side hey, and hopefully I will be around alot more and hope to be posting some new stuff in the near future!!

Years ago when I posted poems on Myspace each poem would register the number of hits the poem had had . The same as YouTube but confined mostly to 'friends', as with Neopoet, readers would often read poems without commenting, this can be for a variety of reasons, but the important point from the poet's point of view is that the fact that a reader has clicked on his poem to 'read more' is not recorded.
It may seem vanity to want to know this but it is helpful.

I would like the community's thoughts on a possible new feature --

Two ideas to keep in mind:

For a time, we've restricted how many poems members can post. The key idea behind this: we're a workshop and a place for poets to post work that they are actively editing. Neopoet isn't a place to broadcast work, but rather a place to work collaboratively to improve it. So, some time ago, we restricted poets to posting only one work a day, and more recently, asked members not to post poems to their blog.

This is for public discussion of the current proposal to increase term length from 3 months to 6 months. We would like your comments on the proposal itself, and on how this should be implemented (i.e., however members might be replaced if they are unable to carry out their full term).
