THE HALO EFFECT

THE HALO EFFECT
I color my memories
lavender-blue
and bring sunlight in
for everyone to see
where there was none
entirely true
for me

Time sanctifies the years
Tears wash away the sins
A well-placed halo
will make the dark seem
less dim

The memories that you have coloured blue
I shall send Rainbow paint just for you.
Beams of sunlight with dust scatters in
To light all the thinking
Truth powder I will shower your way
It shows each truth another way
Time cheats the memory and plays games
The thoughts then though stay the same
Tears will show you right from wrong
Other tears of joy to you belong
Pick up your bright Halo ring
Walk in the light let your soul sing..

What else can I say a deep piece, that maybe a little of self judging as usual.
You take care and know we are thinking of you out there, Yours Ian.T

on me

when I read your lovely poetry
I see the whole wide world
flash before me
the world still has
diligent poets on the stream
like Geremia....
