The earth… yes, just this earth
It is the title of one creepy movie
That we all of these parts
And outside these parts watch
Even if we blind our eyes
It still plays on our blindness screen
Below is an intriguing prologue
And profile of its actors
Best call them cemetery angels
Or the Death Dealers
MAN, the main character of this film
Is the funniest and the simplest
All he does is wear a belt of explosives
And walk into the masses
Emotionless if his beloved was among
He only presses a remote button
And the next scene
People Cheer
Some boo
Others cry
To the huge fireworks
AIDS… the grim serial killer
Though apprehended by the antiretroviral drugs
It still preys on its victims
Nothing kills it
For it pledged an allegiance to Death
To kill to its own death
FAMINE… the farmer of nothing
But the eater of hungry things
When the droughts robs the peasants
Or when the pest raid the crops
There it feeds on famished stomachs.
The HURRICANE with its funny names
But when it plays it grievous games
Life is but the rubble the floats on the dirty waters
Competing with the "mainlanders" for space
And the landlords are rendered homeless
The minor characters
Are but phantoms of petty politics
And the ballistic troubles of politicking
When the winners and losers
Both doubt the votes
But as to the DIRECTOR, one cannot tell
All that can be said about him is pale
to every movie, there is director
And in this unique horror movie
he is the director
So it is all clear and set and intriguing
This movie is not pirated and not for sale
All you have to do is open
Or preferably close your eyes
And you’ll still get to watch for free.

I love your poetry!
It is intelligent, profound and beautifully written.
May I make a small suggestion? Read TS Eliot, try using his erratic verse forms, just as an experiment. It might work for you or not, but I suspect your free writing might work for it.
Hello weirdelf,,,
TS Eliot it is then, my new assignment. like you said: "Nothing improves ones own poetry more than reading poetry better than ones own." I'll look for his work and give it a read/study.
thanks and respects.
