I had a little peanut
I carried in my hand.
Met up with some guy, Peter,
who used it in a brand
of butter.
I had a walking stick
leaning against the wall.
A royal lad named William Mayne
used it to hit a ball
like a putter.
Canned popcorn lid, had I
that fell and became dented.
A war hero named Morrison
tossed it and then invented
the Pluto Platter.
A wrote about a little girl
curiouser and small.
Lewis Carroll gave her a loyal friend
whom some readers would call
The Mad Hatter.
My imagination's clever
inventing everyone I've met.
But in real life, I realize
I haven't done much, yet.
I guess I'd better settle
with watching from the side.
Other than creating fantasy,
I'm just not bonafide.

Dear Lavender,
I think you create fantasy just fine...and inviting reading matter, too!

Hello, Cat and Eddy,
A little ditty about creative people in real life...and I kinda love the word "bonafide."
I always appreciate your time!
Thank you!
